Michael C. Weisburger, M.D

Dr. Weisburger is originally from the Annapolis, Maryland. He obtained his undergrad degree from Case Western and then his medical degree from University of Maryland. Dr. Weisburger then completed his residency at University of Illinois at Chicago in Orthopaedic surgery. He then went on to complete a fellowship in Hand Surgery at SUNY Stonybrook in New York. During this fellowship he gained significant experience with complex upper extremity trauma, microvascular surgery, non-operative management of Dupuytren’s disease, under the guise of renowned Dupuytren’s expert Dr. Lawrence Hurst, as well as numerous other hand and upper extremity conditions. Dr. Weisburger specializes in caring for a wide variety of hand and upper extremity conditions, including carpal tunnel/nerve disorders, arthritis, trauma, tendon injury, and upper extremity joint injury. Dr. Weisburger is Board certified by the American Board of Orthopaedic Surgeons and eligible for his certificate of additional qualification in Hand Surgery.
Dr. Weisburger moved to the Cleveland area in 2015 with his wife, 2 daughters, and Golden Retriever. He enjoys running, cycling, swimming and spending free time on local family adventures and hikes.
